Kingdom Christian Counseling

What we help with

  • Christian counseling and spirituality

Faith brought into counseling when you ask for it, including questions and doubts.

  • Trauma and PTSD

Working through what happened, including childhood trauma and abuse, at a pace that feels manageable.

  • Codependency and people-pleasing

Learning to notice your own needs, set limits and stop carrying what was never yours.

  • Narcissistic abuse and coercive control

Understanding a controlling relationship, and rebuilding trust in your own judgment.

  • Relationships and family conflict

Patterns that keep repeating with a partner, parent or family member, and how to change your part.

  • Divorce, blended families and parenting

Support for adults through separation, new family structures and the pressures of raising children.

  • Anxiety, depression and OCD

Practical tools for worry, low mood and intrusive thoughts that don’t ease on their own.

  • ADHD

Strategies for focus, follow-through and the frustration that comes with them, for adults.

  • Stress and emotional regulation

Coping skills for pressure, overload and reactions that feel bigger than the moment.

  • Grief and life transitions

Room to grieve a loss, and steady footing through big changes.

  • Self-esteem and women’s issues

Questions of worth, identity and the pressure to be enough.

  • Life coaching

Focused, forward-looking work on goals, decisions and what comes next.

Approaches

Treatment is tailored to you. Depending on what you’re working on, it may draw on these approaches:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy
  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Positive Psychology
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
  • Strength-based
  • Client-centered
  • Attachment-based
  • Psychodynamic
  • Trauma-focused

You’ll talk together about goals, how often to meet and roughly how long counseling might take. You can ask questions, decline anything suggested or stop at any time.

Couples counseling

In couples counseling, the relationship is the focus and both partners take part. What’s said in joint sessions is part of that shared work.

If either partner meets or talks with Karolina on their own, she’ll first explain how that information may be used in joint sessions and where confidentiality ends. She won’t promise to keep something significant from the other partner without discussing it first. Each partner keeps their own privacy and records rights.

Couples counseling isn’t a custody or forensic evaluation, and it can’t guarantee reconciliation.
