You’ve built a life worth protecting.
For executives, entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals carrying significant responsibility, seeking support can come with considerations that go beyond the therapy room.
Your career. Your reputation. Your relationships. Your family’s future.
What leaders carry
You can be very good at your work and still feel stuck everywhere else. Counseling is a place to put the weight down, look at it honestly and decide what to change.
Your reputation
You think twice about who knows what, and where it’s written down.
Responsibility for others
Employees, clients, partners and family depend on your decisions, every day.
Being the strong one
Everyone brings their problems to you. There are few places to bring your own.
Relationships at home
The people closest to you often get what’s left after work has taken the rest.
Habits that once helped
Control, people-pleasing and pushing through got you here. They may be costing you now.
Stress without an off switch
Sleep, health and patience wear thin long before the calendar clears.
Built around a demanding schedule
- Sessions run Sunday through Friday, so you can meet on a Sunday.
- In person in Vancouver, WA, or online by Zoom from anywhere in Washington, from Vancouver to the Eastside. You need to be physically in Washington during each online session.
- 53-minute sessions at $200, private pay. Scheduling changes go by text.
- The approach is direct and focused on results. The goal isn’t to keep you in counseling forever.
Because the practice doesn’t bill insurance, no claims are filed on your behalf. If you’d like to seek out-of-network reimbursement, you can ask for a superbill and decide for yourself whether to submit it.
Discretion, in practice
Because seeking support shouldn’t mean creating more digital records than necessary.
Counseling records and signed forms are kept in locked paper files, not in an electronic health record. The practice still uses Square for payments, Google Calendar for scheduling and Zoom for online sessions, for those jobs only.
Confidentiality still has the limits every health record has. The law requires disclosure in some situations, such as certain safety concerns, mandated reports and valid legal processes. You’ll get a full written explanation before your first session, and you’re welcome to ask about it.
